Seminars
A seminar is an immersion — a few days dedicated entirely to dance and its deeper meanings. Each seminar focuses on a specific theme: the symbolism of ritual gesture, the relationship between movement and ancient rhythms, the expressive connection between dance and Greek drama, or the way mythological archetypes can be embodied through motion.
Participants are invited to experience not only physical training but also the philosophical and cultural context of the movements. The seminars often include both studio practice and reflective discussion, creating a space where knowledge and embodiment meet. Whether hosted in cultural centers, dance schools, or artistic residencies, each seminar is an opportunity to step out of daily life and into a concentrated journey of exploration. Participants return with expanded awareness, practical tools, and a renewed sense of inspiration.

-
Artemis: From Setting the Goal to Transformation
Explore how focused intention and ritualized movement can guide both practice and personal transformation. Using the archetype of Artemis, participants learn to set physical and energetic goals, cultivate precision, and engage in sequences that mirror the journey from preparation to completion. The seminar emphasizes how movement can reflect inner focus and transformation, providing tools for both daily practice and artistic creation.

-
The Ancient Body (Soma)
This seminar delves into the history and philosophy of ancient Greek dance. Participants discover the various types of dance, their purposes — from ritual and theatrical performance to community celebration — and the principles that guided ancient choreographers. Through movement, reflection, and discussion, dancers learn to embody the “ancient body,” integrating posture, alignment, rhythm, and expressive potential, while understanding the cultural context that shaped each gesture and step.

-
Apollo & Dionysus Dipole
Explore the dynamic balance between clarity, structure, and control (Apollonian qualities) and fluidity, emotion, and ecstasy (Bacchic qualities). Participants experiment with contrasting movement qualities, improvisation, and expressive sequences, discovering how these archetypal energies interact within dance and within the self. This seminar provides a framework for harmonizing order and freedom, enhancing both technical and expressive skills.

-
Omens
Discover the hidden messages within movement, music, and art, using them as a tool for self-awareness and personal growth. This seminar invites participants to explore subtle gestures, improvisation, and symbolic forms that reveal inner tendencies and creative potentials. By engaging with “omens” in practice, dancers learn to translate artistic cues into insight, enhancing perception, intuition, and the depth of their own expression.

Seminars are designed for both beginners and experienced dancers, as well as teachers and artists seeking inspiration. Each session offers a holistic experience, combining physical practice, historical understanding, and reflective exploration — leaving participants with practical skills, philosophical insight, and a deeper connection to the spirit of ancient Greek movement.
